About the Tiles. Each 1' by 1' Armstrong embossed fiberboard ceiling tile is
completely finished and ready for installation. Tiles are not made of
tin. Tiles are fire-retardant, and
easily glued up with acoustic ceiling tile adhesive. Furring strips are
only required if your ceiling requires leveling or has areas of damage.
Tiles emulate real tin ceiling tiles, but are much easier to handle. View our main tile page
for more information on specifications, layout, and installation. We
recommend that you order an extra 10% above and beyond your coverage
area. Please compute the number of tiles you need by centering your
tiles in the mid-point of your ceiling area.
Delivery Times. Quantities under 5 are shipped within 2 business days (3 if your order is received after 3PM EST). Orders of 5-40 tiles are shipped no later than one week. Over 40? Volume orders take 4 weeks. You are provided with UPS tracking information for all orders. These hand-finished
ceiling tiles are not returnable. We replicate production processes on each tile, so your
ceiling tiles will match.
